Welcome to our info page on our 2025 200-Hour Vinyasa Yoga Teacher Training! We're excited to announce that we'll be offering this training in a new hybrid format, combining in-person and online learning.
In this training you will learn the fundamental principles of yoga philosophy, functional anatomy, teaching methodology, effective yoga class sequencing, and in-depth hands on assists. In-person classes will focus on topics that benefit from group discussion and applied practices. Online learning will focus on lectures that trainees can complete at their own pace, including a 20-hour anatomy course recommended to be completed prior to the start of class. Schedule
This training spans 10 weeks total, beginning Saturday, January 4. The first 6 weeks meet on Saturdays and Sundays, and the final 4 weeks are Sundays only. Trainees are also required to teach a portion of the learned sequence to the public in order to complete this certification.

SATURDAYS - Teaching Essentials
This 6-week section of the YTT is a collection of all the most important discussion topics. Some example topics include:
SATURDAYS - Posture Clinic: The Art of Assists This 6-week section of the YTT provides in-depth exploration of how to provide quality, hands-on assists in the most common yoga poses you will encounter in a Vinyasa class. Anatomical focus of postures and effective hands-on- assists provide trainees with a deep understanding of the postures they will be teaching. SUNDAYS - Philosophy Flow + Sutra Discussion This 10-week portion of the YTT focuses on the guiding philosophical principles of the yogic tradition. Each week we will practice around the concept of a Yamas or Niyamas and follow practice with a discussion about the yoga sutras and how to apply these principles to daily life. SUNDAYS - Practice Teach This 10-week section of the YTT is dedicated to practice teaching the assigned set sequence. Students will have the benefit of immediate and thoughtful feedback to help develop their teaching skills. |
Pricing
Cost of this training is $2,150
A $500 non-refundable deposit is required to hold you spot in this training and will go toward the value of the training.
You can place a deposit to hold your spot, or pay for the training in full once your application has been accepted.
Full payment is due no later than January 1, 2025.
There are no in-house scholarships available at this time, but we are an approved partner with the MyCAA program, providing up to $2,000 of financial assistance to military spouses for the maintenance or pursuit of approved continuing education courses. Please indicate if you are interested in this scholarship when you submit your application and a followup email will be sent with further instructions.
Payment plans are also available with an additional $150 fee. If you wish to be on a payment plan, please email Jacie at [email protected] to discuss a payment plan schedule within 24 hours after you submit your application.
Cancellation Policy: If you cancel 30 days prior to this training, you will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be given within 30 days of this training unless it is postponed due to circumstances beyond our control. By placing your deposit, you accept financial responsibility should any unforeseen personal circumstances interrupt you from attending this training.

Pre-Training Anatomy Course
In order to receive your 200HR YTT certification, it is required that you complete a 20HR online Anatomy course. The training itself will not take you a full 20 hours, as a portion of those hours are designated to in-person discussion. It is highly recommended that you complete this course prior to the first day of training. Once your application is accepted, you will receive an acceptance letter with the link needed to register and begin this course.

What are the requirements for this training?
We recommend that you have been practicing yoga for at least 6 months before taking this training. We also recommend that you complete the online anatomy training prior to the first day of class, as this will help you immensely with the material you will be learning.
Can I take this training if I need to miss a weekend?
Yes; if you miss a weekend within the first 6 weeks, it is your responsibility to meet with your fellow students to go over missed lecture material and postures/hands on assists. You also have the option of meeting with Jacie to go over missed material (at a rate of $100/hr, $75minimum) and must be scheduled in advance.
What will the online learning portion of this training consist of?
During the training you will be given access to online videos and related homework/assignments you will need to complete to demonstrate your understanding of the material. Students can do this work at their own pace, but will not receive their 200HR certification until it is completed.
When will I teach my final class?
In this training, you will be learning an assigned sequence. If you wish to receive your 200HR certification, you will need to teach a portion of this class to the public in a free community class. Final class schedules will occur in the second half of March and will be determined during the training.
Do you offer scholarships?
We do not offer any in-house scholarships for this training, but if you are a military spouse, you may be eligible for the MyCAA scholarship which covers the entire cost of this training.
I'm interested in learning more about yoga, but don't want to teach, should I take this training?
You can, although your time may be better served taking a portion of this course, titled "Deepen Your Practice" (Philosophy Flow + Sutra Discussion) on Sundays. Registration for this 10-week course opens Dec 12 and space is dependent on number of YTT participants, as priority is given to those registered for the 200HR training.
