"Reconnect to your Inner Calm" - Guided by Jade Bodenhamer.
Yoga Nidra is similar to a guided meditation, leading you through a systematic journey that supports deep healing of the nervous system. “Nidra” is a Sanskrit word meaning “sleep.” The intention of this practice isn’t necessarily to fall asleep, but rather to cultivate a deep connection within yourself through a guided body scan, sensory awareness, and visual imagery.
There are no expectations or goals in this practice—only an experience to be present with and a journey to move through. During a Yoga Nidra practice, the brain naturally shifts through different brainwave states, beginning in Beta and gradually transitioning into Alpha, Theta, and Delta waves. As these waves slow and lengthen, the nervous system is given the opportunity for profound rest, restoration, and healing.
I hope you enjoy.
